September 15, 2016 – MASSOB Replies Buhari’s Threat Against Biafra, Group Says Biafran Revolution Is Indestructible

Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari’s alleged threats of crushing Biafra and his comments warning Igbo corps members serving in Katsina to forget Biafra.

In a statement signed by the MASSOB leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu, the group stressed that: “No man born of a woman can crush Biafra because God, history and humanity are on our side, the Biafran revolution is indestructible.”

Continuing the statement read: “Buhari’s militarized administration is the worst government Nigerians have ever experienced. His leadership style of enforcing and imposing a sectional agenda on the rest of Nigeria has by far justified our struggle for Biafra actualization. His brazen ethno-religious interests have further re-awakened and strengthened the Biafran consciousness.”

MASSOB noted that arresting, detaining, dehumanizing and torture of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Lotachukwu Okoli, Benjamin Onwuka and 23 other pro-Biafra detainees at Awka and Onitsha prisons including the constant clampdown on Biafra agitators by Nigerian security forces might seem for some, a solution to the problem, but as US President, Barack Obama said in his 2015 United Nations General Assembly speech: “A government that suppresses peaceful dissent is not showing strength; it is showing weakness and it is showing fear.”

This people are nothing but bunch of clueless people. they forget to understand the fact that breaking up now won’t solve any situation.
HAVE THEY EVER THOUGHT of life after the breakup? i guess NO because if they gave in anyway thought of it then they will surely realise they are trending on the wrong part. question like “after the breakup who will lead us” should bother them alot because am very sure that after they actualize their dream the same old set of Nigeria corrupt leaders will govern them.
“GOD, HUMANITY & HISTORY are not in support of you as you claimed because God can never be in support of such deed he is a man that loves peace and harmony. Humanity and History on the other hand just kept me wondering ‘which history is that’
    i. is it the fact that our so called war lord ran away during the cause of the war
ii. is it that the betrayal came from among we ourselves (the bullet that shot kaduna Nzeogwu was from the back which clearly state the act of betrayal and hustle for power)
i just keep wondering and thinking were the historical backup is coming from and i couldn’t find answer
EVERYONE IS ANGRY due to the current situation of things in Nigeria. you can make your intentions know but not with the threat of secession.

There is no harm in actializing republic of Biafra but what will happen aftermath?. That is why you all need to sit down and thing whether your movement makes sense or not. What will happen after secession should be your concern. Let me remind you about Arab Spring uprising which started in early 2011 started from Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and spread to other Middle East countries. Egyptian succeeded in removing Hosni Mubarak, Ghadafi was removed backed by western power. The only Country that was tough to penetrate is Syria because their leader Bashar Al asad got the backing of Russia.

Now if you go back to those countries where they successfully removed their leaders, they are still figuring out how to govern themselves. The situation has not gotten better instead that action has lead to internal civil war. Now the Syrian Rebel group now want to reach an agreement with Asad after thousands of lives have lost.

People of Biafra, we are in trial time in Nigeria. This is not the right time to bring issue like this especially as we are going through depression right now. But if you really sure you are ready for this war, do not back out in the middle of the game because if you do, you Biafra people will suffer terrible humiliation you never experienced in your life because it is going to be you versus Nigeria. Goodluck in your pursuit.

Bas***ds! Who needs these uneducated, ignorant i****ots in a country that is seeking to move forward? This is their suffering phase 2 from what the late Ojukwu put them through. I honestly believe Nigeria will be better off without those people. Traitors.

Soooo true. Buhari is evil and it serves those who couldn’t see beyond their noses during the election that Buhari is a sheep in wolf’s clothing right. Let’s see how he will achieve anything in his corrupt presidency. Old fooooool.

@LOLA, YOURS IS the kind of comment I welcome. Nigeria better off with Biafra out. How I wish a hashtag on that would be raised to go viral. Perhaps, if there are a million other people like you, it wouldn’t take another war to actualize the Biafran dream after all.
