Nigerian Federal High Court Judge Rita Ofili Allegedly Collected N5M Bribe From Lawyer To Kill A Case

Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court is in a fresh trouble for allegedly receiving N5m from a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

According to Punch Sources within the EFCC, the SAN had been invited to explain what the money was meant for.

A detective in the EFCC said, “We have evidence that Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia collected N5m from a senior advocate. We have invited him (the SAN) and he is supposed to appear this week.”

Ofili-Ajumogobia, who acquitted a former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, last year is believed to own properties worth almost a billion naira in Lekki, Ikoyi and London.

She has been barred from getting any promotion for the remainder of her career by the National Judicial Council for countless corruption allegations.

BUT THAT IS what they always do. Anytime there is a judgement that scandalizes the public, we should know that a thing as this had happened. All of them judges are guilty. The judiciary is the of only those who can bribe their way out, and no common man can do that. Common men should place their hope somewhere else.

It will gladden my heart if I wake up someday to see an headline news that either corrupt judges or politicians have being sentence to so,so years of imprisonment.

But I think that is still elusive and difficult to achieve and I still find it hard to imagine it will happen anytime soon. I pray it happens so we can start to witness the real change to our country.

LET‘S JUST SAY… A bad egg in the system has been exposed. The question is, -After this, what next.

As far as Naija is concern, it is not about been convicted it is about the Connections you have. A few examples of cases that never saw the light of Justice : Lowo‘s killer wife, Ibinabo/ Dr. Giwa, Allison Madueke gross misappropraition of National fund as the then Minister of Petroleum, etc…

Nothing dey happen, no be Naija we dey? Na today?

Mark my words, This case will not go beyond the roof top of the court room, that‘s if she‘s ever tried in the first place. The case would be thrown out of the window into the sea of forgetfulness.

If she can play her cards well, the accused would be aquitted and the case, dismissed.

    I take a stroll…

It is regrettably to conclude that most of political instability, chaos and the killing going on in Nigeria now are caused by the corruptible Judges like Judge Rita. These are the people that politicians in Nigeria used to truncate our democracy. How could a Judge swap justice for money and subject common man to unnecessary suffering.

The simple reason is that these crook politicians will never have any conscience to loot our treasury to the bone by trying to recuperate what they have spent on these judges thereby inflicting unnecessary economy suffering on common Nigerians. To some people, the offense committed by this woman may not be as that severe just by collecting bribe but the overall effect of that crime is highly devastating.

This is the same Judge who lied that the money found in her house by DSS during raid was planted by the DSS officials. Here is another evidence against her of taking 5million bribe from a lawyer. Most of these lawyers are used as accessory to reach the corrupt judges. Folks, I’m really glad that DSS sting operation was successful otherwise the public may not know that the real theives are embedded in Nigeria judiciary.
