This apparently came from 20 Europe-based RCCG Pastors during Daddy GO’s 70th birthday anniversary.
We learnt about 20 Pastors from the branches of the Church in Europe met with the revered man of God fondly called “Daddy G.O” in his International office at Redemption Camp to advise him to resign since he has clocked 70 years.
The pastors were said to have cited the case of the four Assistant General Overseers (AGOs) of the church, Pastors M.O. Ojo, Ilori, Aderibigbe and D. Ojo, whose retirements were announced at the conclusion of Minister Conference on Sunday, August 8, 2010.
A pastor of the church who is shocked at the effrontery of the pastors wondered how some people could be thinking that way, “when all of us are seriously praying to God to grant our father (Pastor Adeboye) long life, good health and strength to continue the good work he’s doing for the Lord.”
He further said the position of the General Overseer of the Church is not for the highest bidder or the most erudite pastor; rather, it is God who will appoint the most qualified pastor when it is time.
Pastor Adeboye had told his faithful in one of the services not too long ago that his successor is still in drinking joint, that is, the fellow is yet to give his life to Christ or he is still a baby Christian.

Abraham was 70th year old when God called him so beware young fellow papa G.o is just startin he still have about 40 year to lead. Am not a RCCG member but i no God is using him to wins souls .

My advise is that those pastors should be patience enough.God has more to do through papa, even though they may hav gud intention but God knows better.

This can not be true, we don’t have creditable pastors in Europe, most pastors that can not give account of their local churches how can they ask him to resign, who amongst them can do the job. It will be interesting to know who these 20 are. Also clarify, Europe is a continent, which part of Europe are we talking about. Daddy GO more grace in Jesus name, as your days increase so will your strength in Jesus name. Amen!!

There is no need to force papa to resignation, he will wen the Lord says it is time, besides it is not the issue of age, Abraham was 70yrs wen the lord called him. Whether old or young wat matters is the anointing,young pastors seeking power should ask from the Lord and not doing it carnally by forcing our papa to resignation just because of their selfish interest. God have not started with daddy Adeboye,he is just starting. How old was moses when he was asked to lead the Isrealites out Egypt and how old was Abraham when he was ask to leave his father’s house? God has renewed daddy as eagles, internal daddy is stronger than a youth. How many of the so called aspiring G.O Pastors are as strong as baba or wil be able deliver God’s words d way baba thru d help of the holy spirit does it or do they think is motivational speech. They should go and repent and stop chasing shadow. We dont want anti christ. At d age of 100+ baba Sadela is still waxing strong. Daddy G.o if Christ tarries to come you wil live 150yrs. Daddy was chosen by God not by men or pastors. People should try and be careful atime before the take decision. Abraham was 70 when he was call. Age is no problem with God. Infact God have added more years because of those pastors and may God help them. AMEN

Pastor Adeboye is GODS ANOINTED SERVANT,those who think he can step down are making a very big mistake against nature and the Creator because they fail to understand the scriptures,the man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.( prov.21:16)also read (Gen.5:21-24)Note.Enoch walk with God; and he was not, for God took him.stop church politics and humble yourselves to serve that you shall be serve by others if only GOD will forgive you for touching Gods Anointed.
