Trigger Happy SARS Police Officer Who Killed NYSC Corper A Day To Service Completion On The Run!!!
Trigger Happy SARS Police Officer Who Killed NYSC Corper A Day To Service Completion Not Arrested!!!
An officer who allegedly shot dead a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member serving in Abuja has fled.
The deceased, Linda Angela Igwetu, was billed to pass out of the NYSC programme today after a compulsory one-year service in Abuja.
She served at Outsource Global Company in Mabushi.
The late Corps member was said to have gone out with her friends, as part of celebration for the completion of her year service.
Narrating what happened, the Convener of #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG, Mr. Segun Awosanya said:
“She finished at work late at 11 p.m (Tuesday) and joined a few friends for a hangout before their passing out parade scheduled for Thursday (today).
“They left for home around 3 a.m (Wednesday) and was shot at shortly after the checkpoint near Ceddi Plaza by a police officer, identified as Benjamin Peters.
“The bullet hit Angela on her side, by the midriff, and she began losing blood in the open roof vehicle.
“She was rushed to the Garki Hospital but they would not treat her until they saw a police report, despite the fact that the police officers were present. While the deliberation was ongoing, Angela bled to death.”
Awosanya said the case was taken to the Federal Secretariat Police Station.
He also said his group was awaiting the police report on the incident, adding that they had written a petition to the police commissioner and the Force headquarters in Abuja on the matter.
Awosanya also said the case would go to court.
He added:
“The police said they saw a convertible car and they did not know those inside. Then, the policeman who shot at them, said that he heard ‘help!’ in his subconscious.
“My question is: even if you heard a cry for help in your subconscious, is the solution to firing at the person who was shouting for help? You could not stop them, double-cross them or find a way to stop the vehicle to be sure everyone was okay; you instead opened fire at them?
“I think this is a lie. They are only trying to cover up their evil acts.”

Unfortunately, we don’t have any law left in this Country anymore, and that is the reason why everybody behaves unguided outside the rule of law. Those who suppose to enforce the law are the ones violating it, why! because they do not have adequate training on how and when to use fire arms during an emergency situation like this. Seeing people riding on open rooftop car doesn’t necessarily mean they were an armed robbers or criminals.
I begin to have a second thought about how our young men in uniform are reasoning. Are these the leaders of tomorrow? Right now we already know the type of commissioner of Police or IG this guy will becomes if he is left in the active duty. There is no justification for his senseless killing. Let justice takes its course that is, if we still have one left in Nigeria.

What system is Nigeria practicing? this lady was rushed to Garki hospital for treatment and even with policemen around the hospital refused to treat her until they see a police report and this lady bled to death in their presence. When Buhari’s son was in a motor cycle accident did the hospital demand police report before they started treating him? the answer is NO. Two laws in that country, one for the privileged and one for the under privileged. Only God will save that country. The hospital is partly to blame for this corper’s death.

Did they ask for police report before treating the Ekiti politician that was shot by trigger happy cop? The law is meant to favour only politicians. As for the shooter, you can run but you cannot hide because you have only incurred the wrath of God. When your own troubles atart, people will start helping you to ask who you offend.

This guys are retired criminals and extreme saddiests, why will the Nigerian Police Force hire people that are trying to run away from crimes they have committed in the past. Na WA oooh! They would not face the Anti-Robbery assignments they were employed to do, instead they be chasing hard working Nigerians who are trying live their lives, regardless of the situation of the country…God help us!
