March 11, 2017 – Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima Escaped Death In Convoy Accident, Special Assistant, Farouk Farouk Killed On His Way To Meet Buhari In Abuja
The Governor of Borno state, Kashim Shettima escaped death yesterday on his way to Abuja.
According to The Cable, Shettima lost one of his aides, Farouk Farouk (His Senior Special Assistant on Protocol) in a fatal crash that happened along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway on Friday the 10th of March 2017.
Another driver who sustained life threatening injuries in the crash has been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
It was reported that Shettima was on his way to welcome Buhari to the country when his convoy got involved in a chain reaction crash.

#who dey pursue una….came down Nigerian governors, senators and other dignitaries moving in convoy like crimes on speed above posted and safe travel speed. Other countries dignitaries travels on their roads too, they dont die on the highway like una, shame!
