16 passengers of a commuter bus have lost their lives in a tragic car accident that happened at Osin River in Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria on Friday Oct 26, 2012. naijagists.com
The car crash involving an 18-seater passenger bus and a bean-laden trailer coming from the North killed 16 passengers on the spot.
According to eyewitnesses, the trailer driver who lost control while descending a slope at a very high speed crushed the passenger bus, which was maneuvering the rough part of the spot.
All the passengers of the bus with the exception of a little 10-year-old boy died in the tragic crash.
The little boy was rescued from the wreckage of the bus hours after the car crash.
