My people, it is quite unfortunate and disheartened over the sad and painful demise of our sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, wards, and loved ones in the plane crash that took place yesterday, but in everything we should give thanks to God.He is the giver and the taker of life,so the incident was not uncanny to him. This is a lesson to every Nigerian that we should give our life to christ and forget about the worldly materials that has limit. These victims,if they had done well when on earth, i believe they are in God’s right hand but if they had not, the reverse is now the case, so beware and live your life for God we have few seconds to go back to our creator. TO ALL, BE YE CONSOLED.

Some of these accidents wuld have been avoided if the Federal government played vital role in our Aviation Industry. think about a second handed Aircraft bought from Alaska airline and its 20 yrs+ in age. This is not a car that one wud match break and it stands. Aviation industry shld be overhauled to prevent future tears. Wake up greedy men and save my country from PAINS of your GAINS.

COULD THIS BE TRUE? Not yet confirmed but got this from a friend:
that we the people of this great nation knows the reason the Dana plane crashed and we are not happy about it.
Is there any way of getting confirmation about the news I just got?that the Dana plane was distressed for a while but could not make an emergency landing because the airspace was closed for 2 hours for – the Presidential Jet carrying Dame Patience Good luck Jonathan.
Private jet owners who had to hover in the air same time leaked this. This was apparently the reason local news didn’t report the crash for so long till CNN and foreign news stations started reporting it.Local news was “blacked out” trying to kill the story of the airspace being closed while a distressed plane couldn’t land.
It would be shocking if so.Though there was engine failure there was still time for the plane to have landed apparently.
You do know anyway that the airspace is closed for up to 2hours each time the Presidential Jet needs to go into the air 2hours for any 15 minutes take off or landing!
And this jet is used by President,VP, President’s wife and if I recall David Mark. Patience Good luck Jonathan came to Osapa, Lekki, lagos for child dedication on Sunday few hours after the Plane Crash. Our aviation authority need to do proper investigation on dis matter.

What do we learn from events of this nature? Do we pause and ponder on the lessons therein, that we cannot be fully prepared for the totally unexpected? That we all are on transit; and should not waste our times making much ado about nothing. The casualties have ended their sojourn in the global village, leaving folks and fores with regrets and lamentations of what they did or didn’t do right or wrong for them. There’s no turning back the hand of the clock. The smiles you denied them, the issues you created in their lives, the neglect, disregard, disrespect, unattainable expectations and all the ifs and if nots are now in retrospect. Look around you: give a free smile to that man, woman, child, rich, poor, young, old, beautiful, ugly, tall, ugly, christian, non-christian, the bees and the wanna-bees. May we have peace in ourselves that we may extend it to others. Let us realize that the woods we pass today in our life’s journey,we may never see again; that the friends we hurt today we may never have a chance to reconcile with, and that smile we offer to one another could positively affect lives. So, lets love one another when we have the opportunity to, so that we may feel regards instead of regrets at a time like this. Let’s cub our vices – discriminating, fighting, disliking stigmatizing, labeling and judging among others and embrace the virtues – humility, patience, etc. above all – love. This is a small world and we have one live to live. Remember, God makes the rain and sun to shine on the good and the bad,He has his ways. On a final note: “Always leave home with tender kiss and loving good-bye. They may be the last”. May God receive them in His bosom. Amen

it’s sad to hear this and it became true.
What i say at this point in time is that we should stop tempting God,i heard that the Dana airline operators know that the aircraft is not in order;why should they risk life’s.
God does not answer prayers when a man knows the right thing to do and he neglects to do it.We should be Cautious. Let it not happen again because we are not going to take it.
May the soul of the departed rest in Peace

May God bless their souls and as well give their families the fortitude to bear the pains. The pain we are passing through is as a result of the menace of the corruption government fails to fight because they are major beneficiaries of this menace.

My regrets in this tragedy include the fact that this blessed but ignorant country will after ranting allow such mishap to happen again without taking measure. May anybody in the aviation sector who would or might in any way take bribe and not discharge his duties die instead of the innocent people. I’ve read the history of crashes in nigeria, for all, no tangible reason has been given and it all happened in the space of 5,6,7 years. For the lost souls, no number of words can equate how much pain and despair I feel in my heart. Inasmuch as I’ve never met with any of them, I love them all and pray that their unanticipated death keep Nigerians conscious of the decay in the aviation as they rest in Gods bosom: Amen. To all those that lost their loved ones, we know it could’ve been avoided but it happened. Shun asking why and run from suicide knowing that every body will die some day and hopefully at the ripe age. One day, you shall meet them to part no more. Note: God knows the best and this situation does not stop him from being God. Take heart and may the peace of the Lord abide with you now and forever more. AMEN. I love you all; God save Nigeria.
