April 29, 2016 – Pictures: Boko Haram Dungeon, Slaughter Camp Uncovered In Jadda Village Borno State, Sols Rescue Hostages, Kill 4 Terrorists
The gallant troops of 7 Division Strike Team B attached to 22 Brigade in Borno state have embarked on the final leg of operation wipe out Boko Haram.
Yesterday they cleared the remainder of the Boko Haram camps in Bogoro and Duguno but on reaching Mbaraka village, they met a strong resistance as the terrorists engaged them in a fierce gun battle.
In the process, a soldier was seriously wounded
The troop overpowered the terrorists and proceeded to Jadda village, a stronghold of Boko Haram where victims are slaughtered like rams.
The troop opened fire on the terrorists, killing 4 on the spot.
An underground pit where terrorists dump bodies of their helpless victims to decompose was uncovered.
Several hostages were set free from Jadda village.
The following items were seized from the terrorists
- 1 AK47 rifle, 120 litres of AGO and packs of panadol
- 2 Solar Panels and food storage facility
- 1 Motorcycle
- 14 Dane Guns
- 12 rounds of 7.62mm (NATO) ammunition
- 30 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition
The wounded soldier is currently responding to treatment.
