A journalist based in Abuja has shared a touching photo of a chicken that died while fighting to protect babies in Abuja.

According to Mr Sultan Siddeeq, the mother hen used everything within her power to defend her chicks but died later of snake bite.

“Motherhood is priceless and irreplaceable!!! “She Killed the snake and then lost her life in a battle to save her babies.”
