Nov 14, 2015 – Rev Ejike Mbaka Blasts Ndigbo Protesting For Biafra Nation, Calls Their Action Evil

Enugu-based Catholic Priest, Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka has condemned the recent agitation and protests for Biafra nation describing the action as `evil.’

Mbaka made the condemnation in Enugu on Saturday in a sermon at his weekly Adoration Ministry.

The cleric urged youths in the South East and South-South to go back to their business as the protest could lead to their death.

“Locking up your shops and disrupting economic activities will not add any naira to your pocket, whatever grievance you have could be resolved through dialogue,’’ the cleric said.

He lambasted those leaders that were behind the agitation and protests, saying that they should use their children for the struggle.

  1. Rev.Father Ejike Mbaka is a true servant of God who will say the truth even when is not palatable to hear. He openly stood his ground against highly corrupt government of Badluck Jonathan when it was suicidal to do. His divine warning and advice for Nigerian youths mostly the Igbo youths about their unnecessary agitation for Biafra state that had existed and died far before majority of the agitators were born is timely, necessary, and divine because the man of God is also a proud Igbo Nigerian. What these youths need is opportunities to get good paying jobs, electricity to power their businesses, good roads and other infrastructures that enables investments, and good education so that we can complete in fields of science, engineering, innovation, IT, medicine and technology effectively with the rest of the world. Most importantly, they need good governance, accountability and corruption free administration at all levels of government. The Ndigbo youths are angry just like other neglected youths all over the nation because of actions and inaction of our criminal and corrupt leaders of over 35 years after PMB left power. Rev. Mbaka is a great Nigerian who want the best for these Ndigbo youths and Nigeria as a nation. We should give president Mohammed Buhari the opportunity and chance to deliver the dividend of democracy to us all after many years of Looters and vagabond in power.

  4. “Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka is a true servant of God who will say the truth even when is not palatable to hear…….”

I am giving you 7 kpozas for the above comment. I am commending you not because your recognition of the sincerity, dignity and bravery of Father Mbaka will attach any extra importance to his personality. I commend you based the fact that you were able to swallow your pride to make such thorny proclamation about him. You didn’t mind how your brothers will perceive your 11th hour view about Father Mbaka given the region he comes from.

Oh! I am sorry I have to retract my acclamation for you. It just dawn on me that the sole reason you praised Father Mbaka was that he struck a tune that is apparently in consonance with your song. As a smart guy , you wasted no time to key into the rare opportunity and used his comment to coat your rendition.

My good brother, will it sound offensive if I say you are economical with the truth. I hope you know that “half truth is more dangerous than outright lie.”

I have a couple of questions to ask you so you could see yourself in the mirror of truth.
    1) How many times have you come across headlines on the commendable deeds of Father Mbaka on this very platform ?
    2) How many times did you utter a word on those occasions let alone being the first person to comment on his “good” advice?
    3) Where were you when he embarked on the deadliest mission in the resent history of this country to blow the sacred trumpet of change that nobody had the balls to come close to?

I strongly believe you were born, mature as you are now and you were hale and hearty then. However, I can’t recall you renting the airwaves of this country with the “affection” you now exude for this man of God. May be you were captivated by his posture in the picture on the above post.

Did you as a matter of fact go through the purported “blast” with an unbiased mind? What in the whole wide word in that statement of Father Mbaka suggests that he is against BIAFRA? I guess you have been praying for someone from the East to say sth that tickles your fancy so you could cash in and justify your paranoid anti-BIAFRA song.

For the BIAFRAN youth you say were not born when the issue of BIAFRA came up and for that reason they know nothing about it hence, they should hit the sack, may know if your were born before the Nig-Biafran civil war. My instinct tells that you were not born before the war. So, why preach what you fail to practice….

You are a good guy who cherish national unity but, the issue of BIAFRA is above you just the way mount Everest is above sea level..

Leave the matter of BIAFRA alone is my candid advice to you.

    • Hello my learned and good brother Dede,

In your word from the above text, “You are a good guy who cherish national unity but, the issue of Biafra is above you just the way mount Everest is above sea level. …” Personally bro. Dede, I really don’t like to respond to foolishness but, your words are from a person with a sound mind, highly educated and a smart Nigerian. Honestly, I love and respect all Nigerians regardless of their tribes, language, faith or culture because I believe that every human being is special and wonderfully created by God Almighty. I strongly believe that not all Ndigbo people are on board with those Biafra agitators who preach division, hate, propagate lies, and cherish succession. I’m saying this for fact because non of my Igbo friends in Lagos and Ekiti state are in support of this Biafran advocates. It is also good to remind you that I’m also a proud Yoruba man who was born far after the Biafra war.I want to believe that majority of good Ndigbo leaders(our governors, senators, and Kings) from the Southeast disagree with the way and manner those youths have been brainwashed by uncultured and arrogant guy like Mr. NNAMDI Kanu. They are wise enough to know that that idea is not in the best interests of all the Ndigbo. The Igbo people can peacefully have Biafra if all the Ndigbo people are on board with this succession idea. What they have to do is to leave all the non Ndigbo states in the federation and come back to those five Igbo states to form their political and economic power. Those few agitators cannot claim that they are ready for succession when about 70% of good Igbo people still live and do businesses in other Non Igbo states in our beloved nation. I’m not saying that the Ndigbo should not have their Biafra only if all of them are ready for economy and political consequences. If Nigeria was to be divided into various factions today, I know for fact that the oil rich southsouth region will not go with the Biafra state but, they will rather form their own nation. The last time I checked, only very small factions of jobless and angry Igbo youths are calling for Biafra state. My brother, you are absolutely right, I will preferred to be called a Nigerian anywhere in the globe rather to be called any other name. I believe that every tribe in Nigeria will be better off in a United Nigeria rather a divided Nigeria. Finally, I want to thank you for your response.

  6. Is really all igbos that are protesting ,am tied of hearing ndi igbo protesting just because few individuals hit the road to protest what they have no understanding of.how many igbos supported this their so call struggle. 95% Igbos knows that this group are jokers and should be ignored but my worry is that every other tribe sees it that the whole Igbo’s are protesting.just like saying all northerners supports burka haram or all Yorubas supported OPC oduduwa .the core igbo man sees this asunemployed group looking for relevant.

    • You are a **** even Buhari is aware that 95 percent ****support Biafra , let them organise referendum it will shame you.
