Feb 3rd, 2015 – Chadian Troops Recapture Gamboru Borno From Boko Haram, Begin Ground Combat

Gallant Chadian soldiers have recaptured Gamboru town from the control of Boko Haram jihadists hours after receiving a go ahead from the Nigerian miltitary.

Today, the troops crossed over into Gamboru from Cameroon.

They launched a ground offensive against the jihadists from Fotokol town in Cameroon from where they gained entry into the Nigerian territory.

I pray d end result wont be like what happened to d people of Ilorin, a boarder town in d N.E of old Oyo Empire which was d hqt of an Oyo General, Afonja, who rebelled against d empire and with the help of the fulanis, brought about its collapse…..Afonja had been assisted by Saleh Janta also called Shehu Alimi, a leader of d local fulanis.
