Some masked gunmen have kidnapped a popular politician in Akwa Ibom state.
Mr Amaete Akpan Ntuk and his wife were kidnapped last night around 7pm on their way home from Ibom Int’l Airport.
We learnt the couple were picked up at a village in Mkpat Enin LGA of the state hours after they arrived from Abuja.
The victim was the former Chairman of Ikot Abasi LGA of the state under the National Republican Convention party in 1990.
His kidnappers are yet to contact his family.
