Residents of Azege in Benue state are still living in fear following the brutal murder of a policeman in the area.
According to Benue state Police spokesperson, Moses Yamu, the lifeless body of a Non Commission policeman with missing ears, nose and eyes was discovered by a police team on patrol in Azege area of Tombo ward in Logo LGA of Benue state this morning.
He added that deceased was one of the policemen reported missing in an ambush attack carried out on Friday the 9th of February 2018.
His body has since been deposited in the mortuary.
